I started in a league 2 weeks ago, still subbing in a couple leagues although not as often as I'd like. All of my equipment is at least 12 years old so about a month ago I purchased the Morich Awesome Hook. It is a great ball and produced better than expected results. The league I started in has synthetic lanes with a heavy oil pattern. The Awesome Hook didnt do as well as I'd thought (averaged 206) so I picked up the Morich Awesome Finish---and what a finish! I started with a 199 out of the box, then struggled the first half of the 2nd game-move a half board left and finished with the last 16 of 18 strikes with a 234 and 288 for a 721 series. For the 11th frame 3rd game, I pulled the ball left and only the 10 pin remained. This ball carries everything!
